The Black Ferk Studio invites you to an art show about the chronic disease ME/CFS at Aux Gazelles in Vienna. The background to the exhibition is the death of Judith Schoßböck, co-founder of the art and science collective Black Ferk Studio. She died in December 2024, at the age of 44, of the chronic fatigue syndrome ME/CFS and severe concomitant illnesses. ‘Art for ME’ is dedicated to the memory of the artist and activist. One week before ME/CFS Awareness Day on 12 May, “Art for ME” focuses on Schoßböck's art and the work of people associated with her, most of whom are chronically ill themselves.
The event serves to raise funds for the WE&ME Foundation and the Austrian ME/CFS Society.
