CLIŠHÉ TRÄSH is a collectively curated festival whose goal is to use humor and irony to point out clichés and stereotypes and to question (and at best destroy) the structures behind them.
In 2022 we started a process of collaborative curation and (self-)reflection with four experts from the independent and institutionalized cultural sector. With the intention of finding new perspectives, we created a forum with people outside our organization. Thus, together with Asma Aiad, Petz Haselmayer, Ivana Marjanović and Negin Rezaie, we critically questioned and revised our programs. CLIŠHÉ TRÄSH resulted from this process and has since been organized in cooperation with the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik.
Offensively and explicitly we play with deeply rooted thought patterns that have an unconscious effect and are difficult to get rid of. Join us as we explore not only these patterns, but also comedy and pleasure activism as effective tools to bring about change.
