In the daily news of crises and the omnipresent feeling of powerlessness and despair and world-weariness that they trigger in us, we can see live how the political desire for humanity and solidarity collapses before our eyes in slow motion.

The DISORGANIZED DESIRE SYMPOSIUM takes this new, deeply unsettling and confusing normality as its starting point and asks how political action must be rethought and done in this disorienting situation in order to pull us all out of the delusional maelstrom of collective political suicide. But why do the masses crave new fascism at all today? How can political feelings such as grief, anger and fear be transformed into hope, courage and joy in order to develop a politics beyond fatalism and cynicism?
