Smaranda Krings and Justina Špeirokaitė from the cultural initiative QUESTION ME & ANSWER (QMA) offer monthly group counselling for artists who are new in Vienna at Kunsthalle Wien Atelier.

Once a month, an open consultation offers newly arrived artists in Vienna access to important information, resources, and contacts. The offer is aimed at people who are facing structural hurdles and need support in entering the Viennese art scene.

Topics such as funding opportunities, application strategies, relevant art spaces and cultural institutions, and the procurement of materials are discussed. Tax and social security issues are not covered in detail, but guidance and contacts with experts are offered.

Participants are invited to share their own knowledge as well – for mutual support and a democratisation of experiential knowledge.
