Drag queen, activist and community queen. She has been known at least since the book reading in June 2022, when a wall was built in front of her library. Candy breaks through walls and now reaches from kindergarteners to retirees with her readings. The books she reads include "Swan Pond," "The Sweeping World of Filip Fish," and "Fairyland for All" - with the first two books being for children ages 4 and up, and Fairyland for All being for ages 10 to 99.
Her goal with the readings is simply to show that drag has a place everywhere and that people and children should do what makes them happy. Be yourself and build bridges instead of walls - these are her words to which she remains true.
