Feminist struggles have a long tradition in Latin America and are an important part of (socio-)political and cultural struggles. Some successes such as "Ni Una Menos" in Argentina against femicide and for the decriminalization of abortion or the Chilean protest performance "El violador en tu camino" have also attracted a lot of media attention in Europe, others - such as the first participation of women in a peace process in Colombia - have become exemplary for others.

On this evening, Luisa Dietrich Ortega, Ulrike Lunacek and Marcela Torres Heredia will talk about their experiences in Latin America with women's struggles against violence, for peace and democracy, for the protection of the environment and climate and against the exploitation of resources.
