Andreas Trobollowitsch is an Austrian composer and sound artist working at the intersection of sound, installation, and performance. He creates works using prepared or self-developed instruments, modified everyday objects, and kinetic systems, often activated by rotating mechanisms or changing states of matter.
His works have been presented internationally at venues including Konzerthaus Vienna, Instituto Moreira Salles (São Paulo), Renaissance Society Chicago, and Novas Frequências Rio de Janeiro. His recordings and soundtracks have been released on labels such as Schraum (Berlin), Monotype Records (Warsaw), Crónica (Porto), mAtter (Tokyo), Sonoscopia (Porto), Futura Resistenza (Brussels/Rotterdam), and Filmarchiv Austria (Vienna).
