The cultural sector is still far from being as diverse as society. But the established cultural sector is facing a paradigm shift, it is on the move. At the center of this is the desire to do justice to the diversity of the population. How can changes towards more diversity in art and cultural institutions be made possible in Salzburg? What can cultural work that is critical of discrimination look like? How can a visible strengthening of diversity in art and culture set transformation processes in motion? With the event D__Connect, we ask which existing structures and processes need to be critically examined and changed. We will also discuss together how we can translate knowledge into practice and create the framework conditions to allow new connections and opportunities to emerge.
