More than twenty years ago, the composer and multi-instrumentalist Eldis La Rosa came to Vienna, the rhythmic richness of his native Cuba in his suitcase. With his quartet "Colores" he combines jazz, classical and world music to a unique sound fusion.
With "Tiptoe walking" the four musicians from four different musical worlds have presented an extraordinary and genre-spanning debut album. A sensitive musical walk. In the warm and clear sound, the instrumental idiosyncrasies and the personalities of all band members find space.
