Heimliche Idioten

Theatre

11. - 25.05.2023, 20:00
Kosmos Theater, Siebensterngasse 42, 1070 Vienna

Contrary to the adage that where one door closes, another opens, the shelf is statistically solid. The shelf promises nothing, but delivers a lot. The shelf invites to activity. But what to put in it from all the things? And what should you do if you only have two books and not even they fit on the shelf? Yet the reviews clearly said it was spacious! It was a "spacious", reliable, solid and not least down-to-earth (!) shelf, it said. What do I do with a shelf that I don't need? I'm happy to hear any recommendations. Thanks in advance. <3
For HOME IDIOTS, Milena Michalek and Sahba and their ensemble have scoured the web for those unintentional, poetic finds that disappear at the edges of everyday perception, but often aptly describe the strange existence as customers* of an opaque and baseless reality. The theater evening is directed at her fellow customers, at all those seeking advice and the secret idiot in everyone.
Greetings & bg.
