Nancy Mensah-Offei

Nancy Mensah-Offei (she/her) was born in Obuasi, Ghana, and grew up in Linz, Austria. She studied acting at the Conservatory of Vienna. She has performed at venues including the Rabenhof Theater, TAG, Volkstheater, Burgtheater, and Dschungel Wien. From 2018, she was a permanent ensemble member at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, from 2020 to 2023 at the Münchner Kammerspiele, in 2023 at the Theater St. Gallen, and in the 2024/25 season at Schauspielhaus Zürich. She received the STELLA Performing Arts Award for Best Leading Actress for "Schwarzweisslila" (directed by Volker Schmidt) and the Götz George Young Talent Award for the film "Machines of Loving Grace" (directed by Viktor Schimpf).

On screen, she has appeared in films such as "Angelo" (directed by Markus Schleinzer) and "As Far As I Can Walk" (directed by Stefan Arsenijevic), as well as in TV series including "Dave" and "Tatort." Starting with the 2025/26 season, she will return to Vienna as a member of the Volkstheater ensemble.
