Wake Up, Cosmo! is an interactive children’s concert that blends music, storytelling, and the sounds of Latin America. Cosmo, a colorful axolotl from Mexico, lies asleep on stage—deeply immersed in his dreams. Moira and Eduardo, his friends, try to wake him up with the help of the audience and the music.
Through melodies and rhythms, together with the musicians, the children embark on an imaginative musical journey through Mexico and Latin America.
The concert combines short narrative passages with lively music ranging from pre-Hispanic motifs to traditional melodies and modern rhythms. The children are actively involved: they contribute sounds, movements, or small musical ideas that are directly incorporated into the performance.
Wake Up, Cosmo! is a poetic, humorous, and musically rich experience that playfully introduces children to the diversity of Latin American culture—and shows how music can open up worlds, awaken memories, and strengthen friendships.
