A published text: independent, creatively produced, and fair-paid - a desirable state for both writers and publishers. At the same time, however, it is still a long way off and requires a lot of work.
In a conversation with Aliza Peisker (Director of Kunstresort Bohema Magazin), Daniel Pucher (Founder of Les Nouveaux Riches) and Gianna Virginia Prein (Author and Artist), we want to critically approach the dynamics of creating and working in the context of contemporary publishing and writing, shed light on art and text production and their conditions, and reflect on the resulting standards. Together we will discuss the process of writing with and about art from the first word to the published text. A topic at the core of which freedom and independence of creation seem to be in a constant struggle with precarious working conditions.
