Inès Khannoussi

Inès Khannoussi an Austrian-Tunisian filmmaker, born in 1989 in Vienna. She studied media technology at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten and completed training in analog film at the Friedl Kubelka School for Independent Film. Her work moves between documentary film, theater, and artistic video, with a focus on socio-political themes such as migration, identity, and social justice.

Her documentary film "A Normal Life" (2024) portrays the lives of Bosnian women in Vienna after the Yugoslav Wars and was shown, among others, at the this human world festival.

Inès currently lives and works as an independent filmmaker in Vienna.
