An evening where different projects and formations come together and form delicate, fibrous connections that withstand differences and celebrate similarities.

Program

Nancy Mensah-Offei
Moderation

With a fine sensitivity for language, rhythm, and atmosphere, actress Nancy Mensah-Offei interweaves the different performances and guides the audience through the evening. As a narrative presence, she creates both thematic and emotional transitions, giving the event a poetic-dramaturgical structure. Her performance opens spaces, bridges genres, and allows the diverse voices to appear as a unified composition.

Noor Abed
I’m so high in you
In her video installation, artist Noor Abed lays bare the sheer framework of architecture in order to create a new relationship between the female body, movement, and male-dominated space.

Marlene Kager
TONE-DEAF
tone-deaf: a world off key is a sound installation that engages with the concept of acoustic warfare and the profound impact of sound on human life and the body. The 20th century marked a shift in warfare—from direct attacks on the body to attacks on the environment on which life depends. A principle echoed in Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice: You take my life when you take the means whereby I live.

Sainkho Namtchylak & Andreas Trobollowitsch
Music Performance

Sainkho Namtchylak—singer from Tuva and one of the most influential voices in throat singing—meets Austrian sound artist Andreas Trobollowitsch, who works with mechanically activated objects and spatial sound compositions. In their joint performance, archaic vocal techniques intertwine with experimental sound production, creating a dense acoustic fabric. Human voice, machine, and space enter into a dialogue where cultural traditions, sonic origins, and contemporary forms of expression intersect.

Ramiro Wong
CELEBRATIONS
The performance-installation project Celebrations draws on Wong’s ongoing research into food as a site of memory, migration, and identity. The performance expands this exploration by presenting narratives that—much like the prepared/presented dishes—are meant to be consumed. Stories and flavors unfold together, blurring the boundaries between language and taste. Thus, the act of consumption becomes a shared experience. Celebrations is an ongoing work that stimulates dialogue about our differences, backgrounds, and beliefs. It offers a space in which we can compare and contrast our stories in the welcoming atmosphere of a shared meal, creating temporary encounters.

Robin Lütolf
Audiovisual Performance

Robin Lütolf’s audiovisual performance investigates unconscious patterns of digital belonging. Spherical electroacoustic sounds and images—finding their language only in the moment of creation—unfold in an open process. At its core lies the question of what traces our digital presence leaves behind—visible or invisible.
