30 Years of kulturen in bewegung
FIBER space is a polyphonic space situated between art and discourse, expression and listening, contradiction and connection. Through a wide range of artistic practices, the contributions presented at FIBER space engage with socially relevant issues, weaving thread-like connections that embrace difference, celebrate common ground, and create opportunities for dialogue.
The anniversary programme, "30 Years of kulturen in bewegung", continues this approach by bringing together international artistic perspectives with local voices.
In cooperation with WUK performing arts, we present SPAfrica by Studio Julian Hetzel and Ntando Cele—an internationally acclaimed production that exemplifies the intersection of artistic excellence and socio-political engagement.
The programme is complemented by a workshop, organized in collaboration with the Austrian Commission for UNESCO and VIDC – Global Dialogue exploring artistic freedom and human rights with international guests from Uganda, Georgia, and Serbia.
The evening concludes with a music programme featuring an opening performance by harpist and sound artist Miriam Adefris, followed by experimental and genre-spanning DJ sets.
